The demolition of the seven-storey torso of the former Carimex car dealership, known as the "Glass Hell", represents a significant step in the transformation of the urban space in Pilsen. This controversial building, which has long been considered as unsightly and dangerous, has now been cleared for new development. In its place is planned to create a commercial zone and residential buildings, which will revitalise the area and improve the quality of life of local residents.
